With the recent COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Cornwall, eligible residents have already started to book appointments and receive a COVID-19 vaccine shot. Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with long-time Chamber Member, Choice Taxi to execute Project GoVax and transport people to-and-from their COVID-19 vaccination appointment. Whether it be accessibility, financial, or other barriers that prevent locals from making the trip, this program will help eliminate some of the challenges by providing a ride free of charge.

To arrange for a ride

Obtain your appointment to a Cornwall vaccine centre by booking at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/ 

When you have an appointment booked, call Choice Taxi at 613-938-8899 to schedule your pickup. Remember to leave enough time for your ride. Choice Taxi and The Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce are not responsible for missed appointments.

Have a copy of you appointment confirmation available to show the driver and mention you are requesting a ride in project GoVax. This will get you the complimentary ride.

After you have received your vaccination, call Choice Taxi at 613-938-8899 to obtain your ride home.
