March Breakfast Connections
March 3, 2016
The Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre, the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce and Cornwall & The Counties Community Futures Development Corporation, are pleased to host Breakfast Connections!
The March edition of Breakfast Connections will be held on Wednesday, MARCH 23, AT RAMADA CORNWALL. Since the February event was cancelled due to weather conditions, and as Branding was one of the topics most requested in our survey, we have carried that topic over to this month.
Branding is one of the most important aspects of any business, large or small, retail or B2B. An effective brand strategy gives you a major edge in increasingly competitive markets. But what exactly does “branding” mean? How does it affect a small business like yours? Will it help to attract and keep customers?
Christina Flavell, our speaker will delve into the idea of Quality Branding for small business. Ms. Flavell is the Director of Strategic Services at the Banfield Agency in Ottawa. She is responsible for brand and marketing strategy, and campaign planning, for global, national and local clients including Hydro Ottawa, the Canadian Medical Association, the Royal Canadian Legion, Mead Johnson Nutrition and the National Arts Centre.
Ms. Flavell is a branding and marketing communications professional with over 20 years experience in B2B and B2C brand and marketing strategy, content/digital marketing and employee training & development. She has previously worked for IMG in New York City and Cossette in Toronto. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College (BA) and McGill University (MBA).
Breakfast Connections will be held at the Ramada Inn beginning with networking and breakfast at 7:15 followed by Ms. Flavells Quality Branding presentation/discussion from 7:45 to 8:45. Go to member services to register
